About TALCO Connections

This is the members' network for The Association of Library Consultants and Coordinators of Ontario. Members of TALCO are instructional leaders or managers for school library programs at school boards from across Ontario.

TALCO is a recognized subject association and a member of the Ontario Curriculum Forum.

TALCO is closely affiliated with the Ontario School Library Association.

This Ning facilitates communication amongst this community of learning leaders, for the advancement of school library programs in Ontario and beyond.

TALCO Connections: A professional learning network

The purpose of a Ning extends beyond basic notifications. TALCO Connections makes it possible for us to collaborate as a community of learning leaders. Here are some ways that we can make this Ning work for us.

Forum: A discussion forum on topics of interest to community members. You can reply to an existing discussion or start your own. You can also choose to follow a discussion, which means you'll be notified by email when there are new replies to that discussion.

Blogs: Your My Page comes equipped with your very own blog. Share your thoughts with the group, or post links to blog posts you write elsewhere.

Groups: Create and/or work in a group when you have a project to work on or a mutual interest to discuss.

Events: Post TALCO events, and events of interest to members (i.e., conferences, workshops, etc.).

Member Profiles: Every member's profile information is available on their personal page. Please make sure your information is complete and up-to-date.

Videos: You can paste a link from YouTube, Hulu, or Vimeo, or any video embed code.
